Pajot jacket in a deadbolt denim - Indigo LIMITED AVAILABILTY
The Pajot jacket was inspired by a small black and white reference image of a vintage French chore jacket pinned to the studio wall at Pajotten since we started the company. Last year a friend of ours mentioned a very similar vintage jacket he had seen someone wearing, he sent us a series of detail shots of it - our jacket pays homage to both.
There is a large shaped, reinforced pocket with a side opening at chest height on one side, and an internal chest pocket on the other. Buttons are hidden, so the effect is of contemporary minimalism. The cut and fit of this jacket is slim, and the two piece, felled sleeve is finished with a cuff. The deep hem hits the hips.
We only have a very few of these jackets available.
* Topstitched for longer wear
* machine washable at 30 degrees (no spin dry)
* corozo buttons
* deadstock denim
The jacket is made of deadstock denim which was at risk of going into landfill, many companies who mass produce are left with thousands of fabrics that they don't want each season, this has a huge environmental impact. We have under 50 metres of it. What it means for you is that your jacket will be one of only a very few made in this cloth.
Fit information: Our model is 6'.1" and wearing a medium. This jacket is made to order, we are currently working to a three to four week schedule between purchase and dispatch.
The buttons for this jacket were made and dyed especially for us in Wiltshire, they are made from the Corozo nut, which is grown in the rain forests of Ecuador, in fact it is the cropping of the nut that has protected the rainforest from being destroyed, and given an income to the local population.
